Here is a simple fact, if you can increase your body's metabolism, you will lose weight. Metabolism is the rate at which your body is able to burn calories and convert it into energy. Metaphorically, your body is like a fire and the logs are fuel (food) for the fire. If the fire is large and hot, it will burn the logs at a faster rate, which means that you will have to add more fuel to the fire. Adding more logs will increase the fires size and the fire will burn even hotter. If you could change your metabolism to burn food at a faster rate, you will be able to eat more food and lose weight.

Knowing what types of foods work well with your body will increase your chances of losing weight. The customized blue print is the first step in learning what foods will speed up your metabolism. Once you know what foods will increase your metabolism, you will literally reprogram your body to burn food faster, which means faster fat loss.

There are five basic factors that affect your body's metabolism and how fast you burn calories: genetics, age, amount of activity, the foods you eat on a daily basis, and your typical diet.

If you have been overweight or heavy all of your life, genetics have been an important factor in your weight. However, even though genetics have caused you to be heavy, there are ways to increase your slow metabolism. Once you finish blue printing your body, you will learn what foods increase your metabolism. Specific foods and light exercise is your key to rapid weight loss.

Aging causes the metabolism to slow down. As children, our metabolism burned calories at a faster rate because we were active and because as a child, our metabolism were much higher. As adults, we tend to have sedentary lifestyles. The lack of activity and slower metabolisms as adults cause us to gain weight, even when we just stare at food!

People sedentary lifestyles that do not move around a lot during the day will have a significantly harder time losing weight than those that are active or workout once in awhile. Reducing the amount of physical activity in your life will make your body slow down, which decreases your metabolism.
