How Good Is The HTC Touch HD?

by Duha Afzal

Without a doubt, the HTC mobile phone is the faraway leader in the world of Windows mobile phones. Everyone knows the HTC is a brilliant phone, but did you know that it's also becoming a household name all over the world? The company is well aware that this phone is their leader now that consumers have had a chance to try it.

When the HTC Touch HD was released, sites and videos were updated, and there were a few people that got their hands on the Touch HD. For some people this was not a big deal, but for others this was definitely a phone that needed more information.

Weighing in at more than a gram heavier than the Xperia X1, its competitor, the HTC sports a 5.0 megapixel camera — much better than the 3.15 megapixels of the Xperia X1. For some it doesn't matter, but for others is quite a big deal to have a sharper image of the 5.0 mega pixels. Compared to other HTC phones, the size of the Touch HD is about the same, but the Touch HD offers a flash WVGA 3.8 inch screen — what could be better? If you look on the top left of the phone you'll find the logo, and on the right is the earpiece grill. Right near the grill, you'll also find the call camera button. On the front are the call end, callback, call and home buttons. All of them flush with the screen.

So let's take a look at the benefits and concerns in regards to the Touch HD.

Pluses:

Screen Resolution - 480×800 pixels

Screen Size - 3.8 inches

Processor Speed - 528 MHz

5 Mega pixels Camera - 2592×1944 mega pixels and a video call CIF camera running at 30fps.

Downs:

You can't delete multiple messages at the same time. Instead you have to drag and then delete.

Dimensions of Touch HD

Slot location of MicroSD card

Before you hit the snooze button on the alarm, you have to unlock the device.

Of course nothing is perfect, but what separates the Touch HD from the pack is its sleek style. This makes it a hit and puts it on the wish list of more than one consumer.

When you first look at the Touch HD, your first reaction will probably be "It's so big!" — we're talking about the phone here — but after an hour of playing with it, you'll be amazed how comfortable it is to hold. Its battery life is also nothing to sneeze at, especially when you compare it to the Touch Diamond — the Touch HD battery holds up for about 12 hours with WiFi constantly on.

In the end, many would agree that this is a stunning and beautiful device. It will definitely make you smile, and you will be so happy with it that you wouldn't want to put it down, even for a second.

Hopefully this review of the HTC Touch HD has given you the information you need to decide on your next phone. One thing is for sure, you won't be disappointed if you go with the Touch HD. I really love mine.
